DILG-AKLAN ENGAGES IN AN EXPLORATORY MEETING WITH THE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY OF THE PHILIPPINES – GRADUATE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT (DAP-GSPDM)

The DILG-Aklan expresses its sincere gratitude to DAP-GSPDM for engaging the Provincial Office in an exploratory meeting focused on the presentation of their academic and executive course offerings tailored for public servants and development leader. Moreover, a discussion of research finding entitled, “Rethinking Future Scenario for Philippine Tourism: Towards Resiliency and Sustainability in 2040 and Beyond,” put emphasis on how tourism sector, one of the most vital drivers of local economic growth, can adapt to emerging global trends, uncertainties, and long-term challenges.

This meaningful exchange marks the beginning of a promising collaboration rooted in the shared goal of enhancing local governance, advancing development management, and fostering innovation in public service.

After the productive engagement, DAP-GSPDM turned over a set of Knowledge Products to DILG Aklan as a valuable resource that will support ongoing efforts in strengthening evidence-based policymaking, research-informed planning, and continuous learning within the local government landscape.
